High-strength construction adhesive based on SMP – free of solvents and MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate). Ideal for structural bonding between various materials and general applications where high mechanical strengths are required. Suitable for use indoors and outdoors.
Application Areas
Suitable for applications where gap-filling properties are required, such as on uneven surfaces (stone, concrete, etc.) e.g., in house & interior construction, but also ideal for well-fitting surfaces and small gap widths, e.g., mounting large-format cladding, panels, laminations, etc. Suitable for mounting wall caps, bonding gypsum fiber boards, or constructions with cement-bonded rigid foam boards. Shows excellent adhesion to various materials, e.g., mineral building materials like (natural) stone, (aerated) concrete, gypsum, etc., metals, woods and wood-based materials, glass, rigid foams, and various plastics.
Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, and PA (Nylon).
Properties
- One-component and easy to process
- Shows excellent adhesion to various materials
- Fast-curing: hand-tight (10 kg/cm²) after approx. 30 min*
- Very high final strength; up to 110 kg/cm2
- High mechanical hardness (95 Shore-A), but compensates for certain material tensions
- Gap-filling up to approx. 4 mm and non-foaming
- Water & weather resistant (D4 according to EN 204) and therefore also suitable for outdoor use or areas with increased humidity
- Temperature resistant from -40 °C to +120 °C
- Paintable (test beforehand) and sandable after curing
